The
Bambury Centre has won the Scottish Urban Regeneration Forum Award for Best
Practice in Urban Regeneration 2007. This award is presented every year to
projects judged to be doing outstanding regeneration work in some of Scotland’s
most disadvantaged communities.
The Bambury was a winner in the
“Partnership” category of the awards and it was their development of dynamic,
creative partnership working – as well as keeping an eye on the future for the
long term sustainability of the project – that were the main reasons the judges
chose to make the Bambury Centre a worthy winner.
The Bambury Board of
Directors and staff are delighted to have been awarded this very prestigious
award which represents recognition of all their hard work over the
years.
