Facilities
Baby Room (6 months - 3 Years)
We provide an area where your baby can play and
interact with other babies. We encourage the babies to play with a variety of
natural materials including sand, water, paint and play dough. The babies enjoy
the freedom of energetic play in our main hall and have a sensory room where
they can enjoy a variety of calming music and activities, relax and sleep when
required. The babies go out for walks to the park regularly and enjoy a full and
stimulating day at Nursery.
3 - 5’s Playroom
Our Childcare staff provide a
wide range of planned activities in line with A Curriculum Framework for 3-5
Years. This includes the development of your child’s literacy, numeracy and
social skills to prepare your child for primary school. Staff promote children’s
all round development in all areas of play. We provide resources to encourage
creativity and confidence. Children have the freedom to play and develop in a
variety of situations including group work with their Key Worker encouraging
turn taking and sharing. We provide an environment to promote energetic physical
play, music and dance, and a quiet area to relax and enjoy stories. You can be
confident that your child’s individual needs will be met by our caring staff.
Numbers of Children
Bambury Childcare takes 48 children at any one
time daily. We also provide evening crèches by arrangement for up to 12
children. Places are tailored to suit individual needs. Some places are split
placements, morning or afternoon places.
